Many of the soldiers have blogs that they can write to on a daily basis thru military provided computers and are used often to keep in touch with friends and family. Often Mom at home can log to her son or daughters blog and get the news about the daily events in Iraq even before it is shown on the news. These brave men and women put their lives in harms way every single night and day they are in that country, even if it is simple guard duty or other seemingly standard tasks that they are assigned to.
